second half of 2005 in a flash...

guess its been a long long time since i leave a line in my blog... time flies... really flies... time to pick up where i have left after project k.... since sharon and steven is chasing me to update my blog so here goes!! hehehe....

flash back of past memories is tough as i got bad memory all the while so the events written may not in the right order of the day... hehehe... please pardon my bad memory...

remembering the day when the finals of the project superstar programme was on tv... your da jie and i were haggling in different camps on who will finally win the prestigious title... however before the results were known, there goes an sms to my mobile... it screamed.... RESULTS IS OUT!! CHECK THE PORTAL! suddenly the mood has swing to the pc, away from the tv.... finally i emerge the loser... more sms flying around and mobile ringing non stop... mood has gone down the drain but not steep surprisingly... managed to cope well with good shock absorbance too... maybe i knew what was coming along... did not suffer a bad setback... composed rather fast... not a bit of excitement... certainly not looking forward to this day but somehow it came nonetheless...

results were not too good though i have already expected that it will turn out this way.. however i still harbour some hopes to making it all... alas i still disappoint in a way or another... not too happy nor too sad... just a tinch of disappointment.. could have done better if i have put a little more effort... so sharon u better not repeat my mistake... make full use of whatever time have on hand now... do what you can... i got high hopes on you!!

while everyone is relishing the results and we had a get-together celebrations for release of the final results and also time to play catching up with each other too as everyone is so busy with their working life and hardly got time to meet... nice to meet one another again after a break from exams... happy reunion and you can feel the warmth and the coehesion of the family is still so strong... could not make it for dinner and managed to steal some time to join for karaoke session and the group photo too.... hehe... guess that's the usual me as i am gone in a flash again.... sorry for the rush thingy because of work but i guess everyone had a good time that night even without me around...

then comes the children's day... indeed we are celebrating but it was all for simon's birthday at sharon's condo and in one of the fucntion room... lots of preparation work was done and it was like any children's day party... just like the days when we were much younger having classroom parties.... balloons and banners and everyone look so young! everyone had fun with simon and jeremy in the pool too!!

sometime in mid october, it was time to reward the "scholar" of our group for being having the best results among us! not the first time but twice in a roll!! our real scholar!! you can see he is all smiles... hehehe.... he is always the cream of the crop among all of us... though he is half asleep in class but the moments he opens his eyes, all the information were already registered in his head and mind!! hats of to u steven!! hehehehe... always doing well in his studies and recently doing well in his love life too! all the best to you and miss A! hope the wedding bells will ring soon.... hehehe....

following hot on the heels are the double birthday celebrations of our dajie, sharon and xiao mei, xue li... simple italian but nice sumptuous dinner at shaw towers... nice good food courtesy of the birthdays girls.... and it goes the usual me again.. gone is a flash! hehehe.... but this time was to attend serious matters so hope you brothers and sisters will forgive me for the speedy exit... anyway hope the birthday girls like their presents...

2005 come and go.. too many things happening along the way... sad and happy memories... ups and downs.... not a bed or roses either... 2005 has not been a good year for me... 2005 gone in a flash and it's time to welcome 2006... will it be a better year for me? looking forward in anticipation with some hopes in mind...

time and tide waits for no man...
